  • Prof. Jose Murickan Award for the best paper published in 2010-2012 and was awarded during the 39th All Kerala Sociological Conference held in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (7-9 December 2012, Trivandrum).
  • Prof. A. Aiyyappan Gold Medal for securing the highest mark in Sociology at the MA Degree Examination.
