In view of these dynamic opportunities, the Department of Finance and Accounting at Loyola College of Social Sciences (Autonomous) has been established to nurture competent professionals who can meet the evolving demands of the financial and corporate sectors. The department offers the Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Accounting) programme designed in compliance with the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) curriculum framework and regulations of the University of Kerala (2024), in alignment with the UGC Regulations 2023 for autonomous colleges.

A distinctive feature of this programme is its collaborative association with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK. Through this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), students pursuing B.Com Finance and Accounting can simultaneously work toward the prestigious ACCA qualification, receiving exemption for nine papers in the certification process. This unique academic integration provides students with a global perspective on finance and accounting, equipping them with internationally recognized credentials and industry-relevant expertise.
